“The Biden/Harris Administration did not properly protect me, and I was forced to take a bullet for Democracy,” former and likely future President Donald J. Trump stated on Truth Social today.
The now former Director of the United States Secret Service, Kimberly Cheatle, was quite deft at ducking questions from the House Oversight Committee yesterday. If only she had been as deft at protecting the 45th president of the United States and Republican presidential nominee, Corey D. Comperatori would be alive today, and Pres. Trump would still have the ear he was born with instead of it being nicked when he took that bullet. Then, too, it’s a constant reminder of the ‘figurative bullet America is taking every day for Democracy.’ To wit:
President Joseph Biden is now out as the 2024 Democrat presidential nominee, he informed the nation at 2:13 p.m. on Sunday, July 21 via “X.” This in spite of the fact that he was chosen by fifteen million Democrat primary voters to be their party’s presidential nominee and standard bearer this fall and his steadfast resistance to calls that he quit the race. But when Democrat powerbrokers threatened to use the 25th Amendment against him, as Greg Kelly reported last night, after Democrat donors had pulled the plug and coffers dried up, Biden caved.
THINK ABOUT IT: They would not employ the 25th amendment, which was Vice President Kamala Harris’ constitutional duty when Biden was too hobbled to govern; but threatened to use it now. Why? Because Biden was tanking in the polls and, like the failure to protect Pres. Trump on July 13th, riddled with a series of “whoopsies,” a Biden “win” in November would not have passed the smell test.
In spite of his vow on “X” to “focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term,” Biden yesterday signed an executive order issued by the White House that delegates his presidential powers and authorities not to the Vice President but to the Secretaries of Treasury and State regarding the Ukraine funding bill and all future legislation and executive orders, Michele Bachman told Dave Bratt, sitting in for Stephen K. Bannon on War Room this morning. “The coup actors are running the show,” said Bachman. It’s a “slush fund,” with no accountability. I smell some big “Quid Pro Quo Joe” contracts.
Republicans may now have no choice but to begin impeachment proceedings against both Biden and Harris, who has asserted for years with a straight face that the president was fit for office.
Republicans, joined by Democrats who put country first, must end this years-long charade that has made a mockery of democracy and has caused incalculable damage—from the border invasion, to the Afghanistan debacle, setting the stage for Putin’s invasion of Ukraine and international instability, to the hoax that Biden was fit for office when he’s been stumbling up the steps of Air Force One since early on.
Then, too, Republicans must keep the attempt on Donald Trump’s life front and center and should perhaps subpoena former Director Cheatle for her electronic communications, encrypted and otherwise, given all the “whoopsies”—notably letting Pres. Trump go on stage when a threat to his life was lurking nearby—that almost cost him his life and would have plunged the nation into a second Civil War from which we would not have recovered for 50 years, said Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) in his appearance with Pres. Trump last night on Jesse Watters Primetime.
We do not know how he came within a quarter-inch of losing his life but we must imagine the worst to avoid even worse, which, no, our country could not withstand.
Suffice it to say, power is intoxicating and when you drink it without reference to what it is intended for, you become drunk and may attempt to control events in a way that is not yours to do.
Sometimes it even requires God to step in, as He did on July 13th.
Apropos of which, it’s time for Congress to play its God-given role so the miracle of July 13th might be followed by the miracle of saving America before it’s too late.
